How to revoke DM run’s access to your Instagram account and request deletion of your Instagram and Meta data.

Your data, your call

DM run is built on the official Instagram Graph API and processes Instagram comments, Story replies, and direct messages only with your authorization. You can revoke that access and have your data deleted at any time. Choose either method below — both stop DM run from accessing your account.

Ways to delete your data

Disconnect from Instagram

  1. 1 Open the Instagram app or instagram.com and go to Settings.
  2. 2 Tap Apps and websites (under Security or Account Centre).
  3. 3 Find DM run in the active list and choose Remove.
  4. 4 This revokes DM run’s access tokens immediately.

Delete from your DM run account

  1. 1 Log in to your DM run dashboard.
  2. 2 Go to Settings → Connected accounts.
  3. 3 Select the Instagram account and choose Disconnect & delete data.
  4. 4 To remove everything, choose Delete account from Settings.

Or request deletion by email

Prefer us to handle it? Email hi@sourcestrongai.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request” and include the Instagram handle and the email on your DM run account so we can verify the request. We will delete the associated Instagram and account data and confirm by reply.

What happens next

When you revoke access or request deletion, DM run stops processing your Instagram data immediately. We then delete or de-identify the associated data — including stored messages, comments, leads, access tokens, and configuration — within 30 days. We may retain a minimal record only where required to meet legal obligations.
